Unique Ladies S Initial Pendant

Here is an unique S initial pendant we designed for a client’s customer. The idea for this piece came from a bent wire pendant the customer already had and over the years had lost it’s shape. An image of this pendant, along with all the other changes, are shown in the video.

This design went through several different ideas to help the customer work through what they were trying to create. First we modeled a new pendant in the styling they had sketched out, but to look like it was still one long bent wire. After seeing the rendering the customer wanted to change to have the pendant solid and to have a rounded look. Then they decided they weren’t fond of the bottom bar and wanted it removed. A minor edit, but does change how the style of the pendant looks and feels. Which, this final design is the one they loved; they were fond of how it resembled the original, but was more simplistic and elegant in appearance.
