Here’s a sterling silver faux antique style pendant set with one of our simulate blue resin cabochon stones we created for a valentines day gift. Like all our simulate pieces the pattern within is done by hand and is one of a kind. Surrounding the bezel and stone are an alternating scroll and bead pattern. By varying the different patterns and textures it adds a layer of visual movement throughout the design as it always keeps the eyes in motion. The placement, size, and pattern of the scrolls also play a key roll, acting as a border to keep the viewers eyes always coming back to the stone as the main focal point. Along the back the pendant, it’s flat with an opening behind the stone to allow light and color to pass through. Depending on the fabric or how the pendant is worn the hue of the stone will slightly change as the slight transparency will react with the light; adding another subtle layer to the whole design.
