Here is a gent’s ring we recreated and cast in 14k white gold for a client’s customer. Their customer wanted the exact same ring, but in white gold instead of yellow.
Using their original ring as the base, we were able to model a 1:1 match. The only difference here is that the side panels in our casting don’t yet have the satin finish applied. This is done after setting and polishing.
The top prongs will also be shaped to match after their jewelers set the new center diamond. For this ring, we only handled the modeling, printing, and casting. It was cast using the customer’s own 14k white gold. Their jewelers will be setting and finishing the ring, as the new diamond the customer selected is still on order.
