Here is a diamond gents ring we helped a client design for their customer. The customer came in with a sketch and a rough idea of what they wanted to create. They wanted the overall feel of the ring to have that old-school look; something you might find that was built up and bezel set by hand back in the 70s or 80s.
With in the ring one 5 x 3.5mm oval natural diamond and two 3.5x 2.5mm pear shaped natural diamonds are going to be set. To help balance the stones, two 2.5 mm round beads were added to each side of the shank. These accent beads help give the ring that classic feel, as this was a common design choice back in the day.
Our role was to help create the design, model, print, and cast the piece. Our client's jewelers will be setting the customer's diamonds and completing the final finishing of the ring. If you, or one of your customers, is looking to create a custom ring with a classic style, feel free to reach out.
