Ladies Custom Designed Mounting For Diamond Cluster Plate

Here is the casting for an engagement ring we design for a client’s customer. The mounting itself was made to be simple and not too over powering as the center cluster that is going to be soldered on is meant to be the main focal point. Really the only detailing on the design is the scroll work within the under gallery. For the top of the ring where the opening is there is a small lip that sticks out allowing our client’s jewelers to easily drop the plate in and solder without much hassle.

The cluster top is a white gold plate set with 9- 2.5mm round diamonds in a grid pattern and it’s being taken out of of their customer’s old rings. Once everything is set within this mounting the two tone look will really make the whole design pop. On designs like this we actually don't need the plate here, just the measurements, making things easier for our client.
