Impression of Lion Couples Pendant

Here is an impression we made for a customer using their pendant. The pendant is labeled couples and it depicts two lions caught in the act. It’s not too often we get an order in for something we haven’t seen or made before, but when we do it’s usually something within the same area as these pendants. 

For being a hand carved piece, it’s made and sculpted pretty well. It's just often times when we show off items such as this was always get the question, why? And the real answer is to each their own. Jewelry is a form of personal expression so if something fits your personality or style we always say go for it! 

For this order the original pendant is on the left and our new casting is on the right. We made a non shrinkable rubber mold of the original and cast a new piece in 14k yellow gold using the customer’s metal.

The mold was made so that the customer could continue to make additional pieces without having to make each new one by hand.
