Faux Vintage Style Cocktail Ring 3d Model

What is it?: This is a downloadable digital 3d model. This is not a physical item or a finished product. This is used as the first step in making the physical item.

Measurements: The center setting is 12.5mm x 8.5mm. While the top of the shank is wider, about 14.5mm, this does taper down to 4mm along the bottom. The overall thickness near the top is 4.5mm and tapers down to 1.3mm in the back. The gallery is open and hollowed out with about a 2mm open tapering outwards. For various other measurements check out the last image within the set. 

Finger Size: The model is set to a US size 8.

Stones: 1- 12.5mm x 8.5mm oval gemstone.

Style: Faux vintage with modern styling. Pulling inspiration from classic designs where bold, rounded, and more substantial metal work was a big part of the look. Opening the gallery embraces a more modern look as well as keeping the weight down for a more comfortable wearing ring.

Weight: Approximately 10 grams or 6.5 dwt in 14k

Texture: Smooth rounded surface

Gender: Unisex (Male or Female).

Files: The download contains a zip file that has both the stl for the model. The model is manifold (watertight) and ready for printing. Included with the main model is the stones and the sprues if you would like to print the model fully ready for casting. 

Types of Printers: This model can be printed on just about any SLA (or advanced) style of 3d printer. Here in our studio we've tested the model on a wide range of printers. These range from entry level machines such has AnyCubic or Elegoo all the way to the mid to high end machines such as the B9Creations or Formlabs.

Services: If you'd like for us to print, cast, and/or finish a model please reach out to us; it's no problem at all. We just need to know a few details (ie. finger size, rough overall size, karat / metal color, stones, etc.) to get started.

Uses: Digital models are perfect for individuals and jewelry stores alike. If you're someone who is wanting a piece custom made, picking up a digital model is a great way to save money. You can either have us or have a local store print / make the piece. If you're a store, having a collection of ready made printable files is perfect for filling out a showcase with unique designs not mass produced in wholesale catalogs.
