Here is the cast of a 14K yellow gold engagement ring we made for a client using their customer’s Dutch marquise lab grown diamond and metal.
The customer wanted to keep the ring as streamlined and elegant as possible, with the diamond being the main focal point of the ring.
The diamond has a thicker cut, which helps accentuate that focal point even more. Because of the stone’s proportions, it sits slightly higher off the finger, giving the diamond an even stronger presence while keeping the overall design clean and minimal.
For this order, we handled the modeling, printing, and casting of the piece. Our client’s jewelers will be completing the finishing work and setting the stone.
From what you’re seeing here, though, the ring is pretty much complete. The bezel will be pushed over to securely hold the stone in place, and then the final high polish will be added to the surface for a beautiful, mirror-like shine.
