Here is a channel-set ring we custom-made for a client over in Georgia. Their customer wanted to turn their old, worn-out, and damaged necklace into a similar-style ring. The only difference was that, instead of having a curve to the ring, they wanted everything to be uniform and balanced.
All the diamonds and sapphires will be removed from the necklace and set into the ring. Each bezel and setting was made to the same measurements as the original. You might notice they are slightly wider; that’s just to give the setter extra material to work with. A portion of each will be removed during the setting process, and each bezel will get its slimmer, rounded look after the metal has been pushed into place to hold the stones.
For this order we were only asked to do the modeling, printing, and casting. The ring was also cast using our client’s metal. Their jewelers will be finishing and setting the ring, but if you’re looking to have a custom ring designed, contact us today!
