Here is an updated version of the Auburn University class ring we designed for a client a handful of years ago. They reached back out at the end of last year and asked us to use the same model, but update the ring for a different center stone, lettering, and side date. From our understanding this new ring was being made for family member; using the first one we custom made as the base design.
Just one of the perks of having a model made of a ring, if any additional or new pieces need to be made or if any revisions need to be done down the line, there isn’t a need for a whole new modeling charging.
Just like last time, for this order we did the modeling, printing, and casting. Our client’s jewelers will be finishing the ring and setting the stone their customer has picked out. However other than the stone and added the backing enamel, the ring you see here is pretty much finalized.
