Here we have an opal and garnet floral style pendant we designed for a store over in Georgia. The pendant itself measures about 58mm x 53mm and is about 11mm thick depending from where you measure from. The whole pendant is layered and has a stair stepping effect to give the pendant depth. Also, the outer opals are slightly angled backwards to enhance the look visually rather than looking completely flat.
For the back we did an opal style gallery and used the structural supports to bring the look together. Weight for this pendant was the biggest factor for their customer. They wanted it as light as possible.
From the video, the greenish blue opal is going to be set as the center stone, the 55 garnets are going to be set in the two surrounding rings, and then the 8 white opals are going to be set as the petals for the design.
