Here is a custom wedding band we designed for a client's jeweler over in Georgia. The band was designed based off the customer's stones and their two requests. The first was to have the band kept straight. They like the space between the two pieces instead of having the wedding band curve to fit the engagement ring. Their second request was to have to have the new band match as close as possible.
Both rings are pretty much identical. The prongs may appear slightly wider in the new band, but that's because it was designed and printed in such a way that allows much thinner prongs to be used for settings. Once the stones are put into place their jeweler will saw down the middle of the two prongs following a subtle guide line we modeled into the piece. After the diamonds are set the prong will have the same appearance as their original ring.
For this order we only did the modeling and printing. Our client will be casting, setting, and finishing the ring.
