Here is a custom bezel pendant we designed for a client's customer. The customer had been trying to get a bezel made that fit their Turkish Ottoman Empire coin, but until now was having zero luck. The pieces either didn't fit, were too big, or were too thick. The last bezel made, which was the one sent to us along with the coin, didn't fully close and the inside groove was about 1.5mm too thick for the coin. This allowed it to move while being worn and eventually would have fallen out.
From the video and images attached you can now see how ours compares and how it was correctly made to fit the coin. The video also has an image of the customer holding the last bezel mentioned. It might be hard to tell but ours is also less chunky overall. While this does help with weight, it also allows the coin to be the main focal point.
This was a quick turn around order as the customer didn’t want the coin gone for too long, so our client is going to be casting the bezel and there jewelers will be clean and fitting the coin. But it should be a quick and easy process as you can already see how well everything fits together.
