3d Printed Branch Style Ring

This is a branch style ring we designed for a client in Georgia. This was one of those rings where the customer knew roughly want they wanted, but the overall idea was not set in stone. Ended up printing and casting several different versions of the ring before their customer was thrilled with the final product. The piece was being made with the customer's metal and diamonds, so originally they wanted as many branches and diamonds throughout the ring as they had. But as always, in jewelry a key lesson to learn is, less is always more. Having a well balanced ring will always be more visually appealing than one filled with bare metal and randomly placed stones. Our client's jeweler ended up finishing this piece after we cast the print, but were told their customer was thrilled with this final design.
