Here is the 3D print is for a faux antique-style ring we helped a client design over in Georgia.
The design went through several iterations. With the idea for the over all pattern, to be built around using as many of the customer's stones as possible, however while still creating a design that worked with the large 13mm oval pink sapphire.
In the final piece, several outer rows of diamonds had to be removed from the original concept. This ultimately came down to the customer's finger size and shape, as the design was becoming too long for the space between the knuckles.
For this project, we only handled the CAD modeling and 3D printing. Our client will be completing the casting and setting the customer's stones.
At this stage, we've already been told that the customer was thrilled with how the ring turned out. The finished piece is going to look even more stunning once it's cast and set.
