Here is the print and casting for an opal pendant we designed for a client. Their customer’s opals were free form cut; so the bezel needed to shaped specifically for the center opal. We also raised the bezel higher than normal to make setting easier on their jeweler. Just gives then a little extra metal to work with. Round cut white diamonds are going to be prong set surrounding the center opal. Which when finished will make the opal pop. Here we have the 22k yellow gold casting tree and here is their center opal resting on the bezel to help give a better idea of how it will look once set.
