14k YG Cast of Ring Guard for Texas Tech University Class Ring

Here is our latest diamond ring guard we designed for one of our client’s in Texas. Gotta say this is probably the most guards we’ve made in such a short time. This one was made for a customer’s Texas Tech University class ring and is going to be set with
42- 1.5mm round diamonds. At the moment the class ring is just rest in side the guard, but the stone wrap around to about half way around the shank and will line up just about even to the side recessed areas.

Our part for the order is complete. Our client’s jeweler will be setting and finishing the piece. Should be a quick and easy ring to finish. Once the bottom sprues have been clipped off the guard will have less tension and will fit more flush with the original ring. Although there will be some areas that are shaped slightly by hand have setting.
