Here we have the 14k yellow gold casting of a past, present, and future ring we designed for a client’s customer. Not the most detailed ring we’ve made, but it’s a good example of how using your own metal helps save money on custom orders. Even on a ring like this you can save hundreds, by not needing to order the mounting already made, or needing to order new casting grain. The cast came out great, with little to no porosity, which should make clean up a breeze for their jeweler.
