This is the cast of a shadow band we sculpted for a client’s customer. Their customer wanted a similar-ish style nugget ring as their original ring. Their original ring is the one with the diamonds. But they also wanted a peg head to be soldered on to the shadow band for a 3-4mm round diamond to be set. The two bands will remain separate and in fact the small plate with the hole for the peg head is raised up higher than the original band so when pushed together it slides over the original. Overall is a pretty unique idea by the customer and one that we don’t see too often; looks even better when placed together. Our client's jewelers will be finishing the ring as the customer was still deciding which type of peg head they wanted to use.
