This is the casting of a scroll pendant we designs for a client. The taller sprue is of the bail that pendant will hang from. Might be hard to tell as it’s upside down on the tree.
The pendant is going to be set with all round cut diamonds ranging from about 1.2mm – 2mm in size. The larger diamonds are going to be set in the corners and the smaller stones will be set as accents in between. And finally in the center a 5x3 mm marquise cut diamond is going to be set.
The back of the pendant is hollow to help balance the weight forward while being worn, and around the gallery we added an alternating scroll pattern to give the pendant that extra bit of character when viewed up close.
