Showing off a nugget style cross we cast in 14k yellow gold for a client in Texas. Their customer wanted to create a similar style cross as their grandmother's, but with a more mescaline look. The overall outer texture is similar to the original, however instead of having a free flowing curved shape the new cross is more more structural in design. Originally the customer wanted a plain backdrop, however having a high polished flat surface behind an already high polished piece never looks quiet right; so we laid out a handful of variations for the customer to compare to their original idea.
