14k Yellow Gold Casting for Hand Carved Wax Ring

Here is the casting for a hand carved wax ring we did for a client over in Georgia. The ring was hand carved by their customer and we cast 14k yellow gold using their metal. The surface of the ring was carved to give the surface that rock like appearance; imperfections and all. 

For this order we only did the casting, and our client’s jewelers were going to finish the ring, including adding the final surface texture the customer was looking for. However, the ring you see in the video is about 95% completed. 

For the last part of the video we included some images we took of the wax that were sent to our client after the ring had already been shipped to us. These were originally for them to see certain parts of the wax, not for the video itself. So they aren't the best, but figured we'd include them to show how the wax compares to the final casting.
