Here a 14k white gold casting of an engagement ring we laid out for a client. The overall styling of the ring was based off a sketch from their customer and was designed around using their stones. This type of mounting has different names, but we’ve commonly known it as a floating style ring. It gets its name as the center stone will appear as if it is floating once set in place.
