This is a two-tone diamond wedding set we designed for a client’s customer in Texas. The ring was cast using their own metal and set with lab grown diamonds. The head is 14k white gold, and the two bands are 14k yellow gold. The center stone is a 7mm round, which is just a little over 1.5 carats. The side and band diamonds are 2.6mm, combining for about 1 carat total weight.
Everything was modeled, printed, cast, and finished right here in house. One of the advantages of fully making each part of the ring is that we can build everything to fit together from the start. Instead of trying to fit a die-struck head onto a custom mounting, we can keep the original tolerances tight, so there aren’t any large openings or bulky solder seams. Which leads to a much cleaner finished piece.
This wedding set has already been delivered, and we’ve already been told customer was absolutely thrilled with how everything turned out.
