14k Rose Gold Channel Set Pyramid Ring Casting

Here is the casting of a channel-set pyramid ring we designed for a client. On the left is the mounting from our client’s showcase, which served as the starting point for the new design. Then along the bottom are the customer’s rings and stones that will be used in the new piece. Finally, on the right is our 14k rose gold casting of the matching ring.

For the new ring, the customer’s head and center stone will be removed their original and re-soldered into the new mounting. Then, 22 2.5mm round diamonds will be set into the shank.

For this order we were only asked to designed the model, print, and cast the ring. Our client's jewelers will be setting and finishing the ring. They were ordering additional diamonds for the new mounting, along with waiting for the customer to bring in the rest of the diamonds they had.
