Here is our Textured American Football style helmet. The piece has been modeled to represent the classic style of helmets.
The pendant has a smooth finished front surface along with a recessed textured back. This not only makes cleaning and polishing easier, but also adds that extra bit of character to the design for when viewed up close.
Overall the pendant measures (including the bail) 38mm tall x 28mm wide and is about 8mm thick. However the 8mm thickness is measuring from the top of the face guard to the bottom of the helmet. The back is recessed (or hollowed out) and the surface thickness is roughly about 1mm thick.
The bail included with the model was laid out to fit the size of the current helmet and can take up to a 6mm wide chain. But any bail can be added if needed.
The upper north west portion of the helmet is smooth with a slight curve easily allowing any logos, emblems, initials, etc to be added in order to customize the model.
Included in the file is the stl and obj files and the file being downloaded is a .zip file.
We’ve designed this model to be printed on a wide range of 3d printers given it has the micron level to print the detail. These could range from entry level to high end printers. We test printed the piece here on an Anycubic and one of our B9 series printers. Both printed the model without issue.
